STATUS

Aspen High Timber channels the spirit of the Great Western Lodges, where enduring craftsmanship and honest materials root the home deeply in its alpine landscape.

Aspen High Timber draws from the timeless spirit of the Great Lodges of the American West, merging craftsmanship, permanence, and connection to the Colorado landscape. Every material is carefully chosen and masterfully constructed to create a cohesive living environment where architecture and nature intertwine—from the expansive exterior stonework to the smallest interior joinery. The palette echoes the surrounding terrain, with soft browns, grays, and rust tones reminiscent of local stone, and interiors that carry this language inward through hand-selected timbers, custom millwork, and metal and glass accents.

The design emphasizes quality, simplicity, and timelessness: wide walnut plank floors, limestone and natural stone surfaces, and integrated plaster walls form a backdrop that is elegant yet restrained, allowing the purity of each material to speak for itself. Rather than layering decorative details, the architecture relies on its clean lines, honest textures, and the quiet strength of its construction to create a home that feels both enduring and intimately rooted in its alpine setting.
