2006-2008
STATUS
Completed
Element 52 was envisioned as a cascading mountainside retreat, offering one of Telluride’s rare true ski-in, ski-out experiences within steps of town.
Designed as a cascading building that follows the natural slope of the mountain, Element 52 is one of the few true ski-in, ski-outs in town, offering direct connection to the slopes while remaining fully walkable to everything Telluride offers.
The building steps with intention, reflecting Tommy Hein’s approach of listening to the land and allowing the terrain to guide the form. Each level settles into the hillside, creating a sense of flow between elevation, movement, and the surrounding alpine landscape.
As part of the Auberge Resorts Collection, Element 52 brings together thoughtful design and a deep appreciation for place. Light, views, and the rhythm of the mountain shape the living experience, creating a balance between retreat and connection.
Element 52 is an elevated vantage point—designed with intention, shaped by its terrain, and connected to the spirit of Telluride.
